This photography workshop will take place in the beautiful foothills of the Sierras known as Caliente, California (aka Twin Oaks). You will stay in cute little cabins at Wild Horse Canyon part of the 1000 acre horse rescue ranch belonging to Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue. All meals will be provided.
The 2-day photography activities will be led and instructed by Sally Linden.
Each day will consist of photo ops in the morning and again in the afternoon of the rescued wild horses that live at Lifesavers' Wild Horse Canyon Sanctuary. Mid-day is for reviewing and editing your work on your personal laptops.

Bag or Backpack for Carrying Equipment

PLEASE ARRIVE Friday evening, April 20, 2018 BETWEEN 4PM & 7PM, to get settled and rested before the activities begin Saturday morning. Our last activity is scheduled for Sunday, April 22, 2018 with the program concluding after lunch for those participants that need to catch planes or that have to drive long distance. For those who can stay longer, there will be an additional activity after lunch. You will have 2 days to take amazing photographs of wild horses (keep a watch out for other wild life as well).
It's a weekend packed with horses, but don't worry, there will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the sanctuary including an evening campfire (if weather permits) with a glass of wine, beer, or the soft beverage of your choice. Don't forget your hiking boots, because there are magical hills full of hidden secrets just waiting for your discovery.

The fee for this Wild Horse Photography Journey is $695 which includes all your fabulous meals served family style, and basic cabin lodging - some single units, and some shared.
A deposit of $200 to hold your space in this journey is required at time of registration. If you cancel no later than 2 weeks prior to the retreat, we will refund your payment in full including the deposit. Cancellations 2 weeks or less prior to the retreat will forfeit the $200 deposit and will be considered it a tax deductible donation to Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue. Fee must be paid in full by April 6, 2018.
