  • All volunteer applicants for the Allied Leadership Council (ALC) must be an Allied GBTA member continuously for the past two years or more.
     
    ALC Leadership and their experience is critical in maintaining brand confidence in the organization and the overall financial health of the organization through supplier commitments.  ALC Leadership should be well known within the industry and have a deep network of relationships in the supplier community. 
     
    The ALC President should be a senior executive from the industry with a minimum of five (5) years working as a senior executive.
     
    Time Commitment:

    ALC President / ALC Vice President:

    2 or 3 in person meetings for the ALC (Meetings are a full day + travel time. 1 – 2 days prep time and follow up per meeting)

    4 in person meetings for the GBTA Board of Directors (Meetings are a full day + travel time)

    Attend annual GBTA Convention (Approximately 5 days)

    Support GBTA Executive Director with Allied Community through phone calls, emails, and in other areas

    Conference calls:  GBTA Leadership, GBTA Board, ALC members, fielding calls from GBTA members

     
    ALC Member:

    2 or 3 in person meetings for the ALC (Meetings are a full day. Attend annual GBTA Convention. Approximately 5 days)
