This program will prepare you for a career in personal financial planning. With completion, you’ll be eligible to sit for the national CFP® Certification Examination.
The certificate requires a minimum of 27 hours in required courses. With the financial planning certificate, you will be qualified to pursue entry level positions as a financial planner at a financial planning firm, insurance company, investment firm, or bank.
Criteria for admission into the Entrepreneurship Certificate program include:
1. Complete the online application.
2. Submit the applicant’s resume.
3. Complete a panel interview, with finance faculty. Must bring most recent DARS to interview.
4. Complete add/change of major forms found in the Center office (401).
