  • Description and Instructions:

    Inactive Membership is restricted to those applicants who were certified by the IIC and currently are temporarily not involved in Internal Controls directly or indirectly, but who desire to remain updated on current events and eventually return to full CICA or CCS certification status. You may not use the CICA or CSS credentials or advertise as holding these credentials while on Inactive status.

    Although you will have access to the IIC website, you will not have access to the Members Portal or any benefits limited to members in good standing.

    ***Note: that Inactive Members must renew their Inactive status annually by completing the form and paying         the $50 reduced fee. Inactive status may only be maintained for 3 years, after which the member must apply for full membership and certifications or the member will be automatically terminated from membership         in the IIC.
