In order to use this tool you will need to know the proposed business or use, whether it was legally established, and the zone district of the property you are interested in.
This tool will walk you through a series of questions and will assist you in determining the following:
- If your proposed use is allowed at the location.
- The type of application required.
- The level of application review required.
- The application fee required.

Master Use Table. This table will allow you to locate your proposed business type or use and determine if it is allowed as Permitted (P) or Conditional (C), if it is Prohibited (-), or if it is an Unlisted (U) use. See the Special Use to Allowed Use Conversion Table link for additional use options.
Special Use to Allowed Use Conversion Table. This conversion table designates which uses listed on the Master Use table include the special uses listed in Article 27 of the Fresno Development Code. It also designates which special uses have operational standards and development standards that apply.
