FEES AND TERMS
Entry Fee: Members $20, Non-Members $45. Late Entry add $5. Show entrance includes the obligation to work one of the many open volunteer positions involved during the show. Non-volunteers please add $20 to entry fee amounts.
JAG Percent of sale: Volunteers' sales 10%, Non-Volunteers' sales 25%.
JAG will collect all money and taxes for sales AND cover credit card fees.
Annual membership fee is $20. Go to JulianArtsGuild.org to download appropriate applications or apply online.
Show entry forms MUST be accompanied by appropriate payment & received by deadline above. Entries will be received at the Town Hall only on Friday, September 1st from 10 am until 1 pm. Entries must be picked up at 5 pm Monday, September 4th (NO EARLY PICKUPS - NO EXCEPTIONS).
FUND RAISING RAFFLE FOR JAG NON-PROFIT ART GALLERY
To aid in our efforts to open a non-profit JAG art gallery in Julian, all raffle proceeds will be allocated to this worthy endeavor. If you would like to contribute a piece, please bring it with you when you drop off your work. Our raffles have generated some great proceeds in the past, and we hope to continue this as a tradition.
ART SHOW POLICIES AND RULES:
- All art pieces must be original, ready for display (no saw tooth hangers), and suitable for family viewing. Unframed flat work may be displayed in a print rack supplied by the artist.
- Artists will be required to complete display labels and place them on the front of their works at time of delivery of entries.
- The number of hanging artworks per artist will be limited to a maximum of 8 pieces, space permitting. Tables are guaranteed for for those artists not hanging.
- Those already hanging and those with a table or special space allocation may request an additional table provided there are extras. A fee of $10 will be charged, except for non-hanging artists’ tables.
- JAG & Julian Chamber of Commerce assume no responsibility for damage, theft or loss of entered artwork.
- All artists entering this show are required to work during the show, as well as help with after-show cleanup on Monday. Please contact our Scheduling Coordinator, Mary Morgan (760-765-3584, or maryfmorgan@gmail.com) to schedule your volunteer job and responsibilities.
- If, because of an emergency, you cannot volunteer at the time you have chosen, you are fully responsible to arrange for a replacement.
