Life Group Host or Leader Registration
What is a life group leader?
A Life Group leader is an SSM small group leader. Life Groups meet once a week throughout the school year in homes, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday nights, for two hours. Meeting times are comprised of Bible study, relational connection, and prayer time. A typical group is made up of 10 students or less (grade and gender specific) and 2 leaders who co-lead the group each week. You will be provided with curriculum for the Bible studies, leader training before groups launch, and ongoing training and support throughout the year.
What is a life group host?
A Life Group host opens their home to a SSM small group once a week throughout the school year, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday nights, for two hours. A typical group is made up of 10 students or less (grade and gender specific) and 2 leaders who co-lead the group each week. Your home is a safe environment for students and leaders to gather, connect, learn and grow closer together.

Thank you for hosting and/or leading a Life Group for 2017-2018. This year is going to be amazing! Both new and returning hosts and leaders are asked to complete a new registration. Your information will help us put incredible groups together this year!
Once we have received your registration, then one of our staff will be contacting you to further discuss the details of hosting/leading. A Saddleback SSM Volunteer Application is also needed to complete the registration process. If you have not completed a Saddleback SSM Volunteer application, we will send you one to complete.
The final step for being a Life Group leader is Life Group Leader Training. The date for this required training is the morning of September 23rd at our Lake Forest Campus. Hosts may attend this training but it is not required for hosts. Save the date!
It's going to be a great year!
Love,
The SSM Staff
