Program Signup
History4Kids (previously called Your Story Here) is a FREE program for classes, designed to accompany the Museum of Sonoma County's exhibition, Sonoma County Stories.

Students will visit the museum and engage in a workshop exploring themes of community, belonging, and storytelling, centered around a student-driven mapmaking activity. Each student's map will be added to an atlas representing stories from the entire class.

This program is appropriate for 2nd-12th grade students, and the interdisciplinary curriculum applies to Social Studies, English, Ethnic Studies, and Visual Arts standards.

Please submit separate requests for each class. History4Kids is designed for one class of students at a time. Transportation funding is available.

History4Kids program can be modified as a 1-Day program or 2-Day program. Choose how many days below*
1-DAY: Museum visit and short activity.

2-DAY: Museum visit and a school visit.

History4Kids is currently offered Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. 50-minute and 90-minute programs are available. To request a different date or time, please email Shannon, soneillcreighton@museumsc.org.
