Wedding Reservation Policies and Procedures Contract
What Gathering Place Church Provides: Order of Ceremony, vows, ceremony officiate, sound equipment, chairs, restroom facilities, and lights.
Marriage Counseling: Marriage counseling is available. We believe it is so important to understand the commitment you are about to enter into. We offer counseling sessions prior to your wedding if wanted, but it is not a requirement. If you choose to go through 3 sessions of marriage counseling please call our office to schedule a time. "Renting" Policy: We do not "rent" out Gathering Place Church. We ask that you use one of our Pastors to officiate the wedding. Gathering Place Church does not accommodate receptions.
Deposit/Payment: To officially have your wedding date reserved on our calendar you must make a deposit of 25% of the total price ($750.00). The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the rehearsal date.
Full Payment: $750.00 | 25% deposit: $187.50
Payment Plan: We do offer payments plans. You will be asked to schedule payments on the 1st Friday of the month. If you do not pay the monthly payment and become behind on your payment for more than 3 months, we will contact you. If you become behind on your payments, you must pay in full the months you missed. If we contact you and do not hear from you about the late payments we will not refund your deposit.
Cancellation: If you cancel your wedding reservation 1 month prior to your wedding you will receive your deposit back. If you cancel 30 days before the wedding you will receive all your money back except a $50 processing fee.
Building/ Equipment: The church will be opened 2 hours before the wedding. If your florist, or photographer needs to get in at any other time, arrangements must be made 1 week prior to the wedding day.
*As part of your fees(listed) you are paying for an audio technician from the Gathering Place Church. That person will be at your rehersal and wedding. We ask that you do not move any equipment (including but not limited to, microphones, microphone stands, band equipment, instruments, monitors etc.)
Liability: The church is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property of the wedding parties or guests. Additionally, the church is not responsible for personal injuries that may occur while on the premises, as weddings are not a function of the church.
Damages: You are held responsible for any damages to the building (including but not limited to, outside, inside: chairs, sanctuary, stage, instruments, restrooms, daycare center, etc). If there are damages you will be contacted and will be responsible for all costs and expenses that incur in the use of the church’s facilities. If the church is required to repair damage to its buildings or grounds as a result of your use of its facilities, you agree to repair the damage and agree to reimburse the church upon receipt of an itemized bill.
Children: Children in the building are to be supervised at ALL times, this means they must be with their parent or child care provider. Children are not allowed to be on the stage, unless they are apart of the rehersal ceremony. Due to weekly sanitation requirments by the Health Department of Kentucky, no children are allowed to play with the toys in the Day Care Area of the building.
Decorations: Please understand that we try to take care of the facilities God has blessed us with, and as such we do not allow the use of certain kinds of tape or other destructive materials to be used in our building. Spray gillter is not permitted to be used indoors. Items attached to the chairs must be attacted with regular masking tape (not duct tape or glue gun)
Smoking: No smoking is allowed inside the building at any time smoking outside the building is discouraged and permitted only in the driveway to the side of the building. This applies to the rehersal and wedding day.
Alcoholic Beverages: No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the church property including the cehicles of the guest or wedding part. Anyone who is observed consuming alcoholic beverages or found with them in their possession will be asked to leave the property immediately and will no be allowed to return for the ceremony.
Music: All music must be given to Gathering Place Church 1 week prior to the wedding.
Miscellany: This Agreement incorporates the entire understanding of the parties. Any modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky.
I have read the above items and throughly understand my responsiblity to abide by them fully. I understand that I am responsible for any and all damages that occur as a result of myself, my wedding part or guest not abiding by the above rules. I have recieved a copy of this form.
