USC Gender Identity Accommodations
  • In collaboration with the Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC), the LGBTQ+ Student Center supports students with the following gender-identity supportive measures: changing their USC NetID (if it incorporates their deadname), obtaining a new USC Card with their chosen name, and having chosen name printed on a first-issue diploma. *Please note, changes to your NetID are reflected in various systems across campus including the Shibboleth login and email name.

  • *Before completing this form, please note that students can add their chosen name, pronouns, and update their gender identity in Experience USC. Information from Experience USC integrates into the Student Information System (SIS). This mainframe system hold a broad range of information - like admissions status, financial aid, registration, etc. - and provides necessary information to several other university systems, including OASIS, Web Registration, and the online Schedule of Classes. Your legal name will remain in SIS, as well. Students can also update their email display name, Zoom display name, and add pronouns to Zoom. Details on making these changes can be found at: https://lgbtqplus.usc.edu/services-and-resources/transusc/name-and-gender-change/.
