Bridges of Colorado understands that host home providers may at times need to leave the consumer in the care of a designated backup residential staff (BURS) for a limited amount of time. It is Bridges policy to ensure that Host Home Providers as well as anyone the have functioning as a backup residential support understand what is expected of them in regards to caring for Bridges consumers.
Contracted Host Home Provider are allowed to leave the consumer with backup residential support for short periods of time granted that the following guidelines are observed:
Backup residential support are NEVER to administer medications to the consumer.

I have read the foregoing Bridges Residential Backup Support Policy. My signature below indicates that I completely understand the policy and the responsibilities of both the Host Home Provider and the Backup Residential Support.
