Thank you for your interest in becoming a certified External Assessor. While the Weikart Center occasionally hosts in-person sessions, we primarily offer Live Virtual EART opportunities throughout the year to provide flexible, accessible training for our partners nationwide.

Prerequisites
Participation in EART requires the successful completion of PQA Basics. This foundational course ensures all assessors begin with a consistent understanding of the PQA tool. You may purchase the online module through our online store.
Training Format
Our Live Virtual EART is a rigorous, interactive experience led by a Weikart Center trainer. To mirror the depth of our in-person workshops, the training consists of:
- Four live Zoom sessions totaling approximately 8.5 hours of synchronous, expert-led instruction.
- Approximately 6-8 hours of self-paced coursework to be completed between sessions.
Certification & Renewal
- Validity: Your External Assessor certification remains valid for two years.
- Renewal Process: To maintain active status, a self-paced online renewal course is available for assessors to complete as they approach their expiration date.
