    Please answer all of the following questions so we may pair you with a local Valet Tagger as quickly as possible. As a Valet Consignor YOU will earn a commission (options below) and a PreSale Pass to shop early before the public! You deliver your items to the valet, they then prep + deliver your items to 406 Consignary during sale week. Valet Taggers are well trained and committed to minimizing consignment stress + maximizing your profits! (Check your spam/promotions folders if you don't see an email within 24 business hours)

  • ***NEW ITEM LIMITS*** To help as many peeps as possible we can only accept 300 items into your valet agreement each season. *Please Note* 1 item = 1 price tag. Example: 1 price tag works for a shirt, a jacket, a pair of shoes, a set of 5 onesies (must be bagged as a set), toys individual or set, stroller, diaper bag, book... etc*

  • (The 300 item limit counts towards newly tagged inventory for this season. Items tagged for previous 406 Consignary events will not count towards your 300 item limit.)

  • ***NEW NO BINS REQUIRED*** We want all items to be pre-bundled by size & gender so plastic bags (or cardboard boxes) work great! Basically bring us your goodies in anything that you won't need back :D*
  • QUALITY CONTROL: In the event that a Valet Consignor's inventory does not meet the CLEAN + WASHED + STAIN FREE + SORTED BY SIZE standards: The Valet Consignor will be charged $0.25 per item that does not pass quality control**. In the event that there are more than 30 additional items that do not pass inspection YOUR COMMISSION WILL DROP TO 30%*
  • Please do not send items that are not accepted: No socks, no underwear (nursing bras ok), no open packages of diapers (new + sealed are ok!), No recalled baby gear (all other baby gear sells awesome!), No *personal personal items* (there are things we cannot unsee), No stuffed animals, No Carseats-No Exceptions.*

  • All consignors pay a $20 seller fee, however if you would like to volunteer for shifts during the event, your seller fee may drop to $0.*
  • The Valet Tagger is fully in charge of setting the prices for your items to sell. They are excellent at pricing for our current market and do their best not to under or over price the items.*
  • All clothing needs to be on hangers during the 406 Consignary event. Which means- we need as many hangers as possible for your items to make it onto the sales floor.*
  • We accept all clothing sizes Preemie & NB through Juniors 14-18, all maternity, and up to 30 items of Women's Clothing.*
  • 406 Consignary partners with local charities to meet their most urgent needs. Would you like your unsold items to be donated for you, after the event? {You will have tax deductible donations report waiting for you to download, within 2 weeks following the sale}*
  • Have we tagged your stuff before? If yes- who should we try to pair you with?

  • Valet Consignor Seller's Agreement:

    • Items not picked up by Sunday evening (of sale week) at 8:00 p.m. will be donated immediately. This action cannot be undone.
    • In consideration for the opportunity to participate in and profit from 406 Consignary Consignment Sales, the undersigned seller agrees to the following: To hold harmless and make no claim against 406 Consignary Venue, the owners of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in the sale, the Valet Tagger or the insurers of Johanna Bouma or 406 Consignary for personal injury or for the damage, theft or loss of any items consigned at 406 Consignary.
    • On the last day of the sale all unsold items will be sold for half of the price IF the tag is marked with 'REDUCE'. Items with no price indicated on the tag will be sold at a fair market price. Seller agrees to accept this pricing as final. If no seller code appears on the tag the seller will not receive credit for the item.
    • No claims will be made against Johanna Bouma, The Valet Tagger, or 406 Consignary for any discrepancies involving items placed in the sale.
    • Valet Consignors MUST cash checks issued as proceeds from the sale within 20 days.
    • In the event of a lost check- there is a $35 check reissue fee.
    • For sold items Traditional Valet Consignors will receive 50% (Express Valet earn 30%). A $20 fee will be deducted from each valet consignor’s total profits to cover advertising and other costs associated with the sale. (Volunteers may have a lesser participation fee)
    • The Valet Consignor must not to set up in business as a direct consignment competitor of 406 Consginary within a radius of 190 miles of Kalispell, Helena, Billings, Great Falls, Bozeman or Missoula, Montana.
    • In regard to items placed in the sale the following are true:
      • Each item offered for sale by me is in good operating condition, not defective, broken, or missing pieces in any way.
      • Each item complies with applicable law and no item is subject of any recall notice or other consumer protection enforcement action; and
      • I know of no reason why any item offered for sale by me would cause any injury to another.
