CAPI serves a vital role in providing education and support to empower Pride organizations. We promote Pride, increase networking opportunities and foster communication among Pride organizations.
In a world where there are countries that it’s illegal or dangerous to organize events in support of the rights of LGBTI people, we seek to achieve our shared vision of a world where there is full cultural, social and legal equality for all.
As the organization that ties Pride together, we believe our strength lies in collective action. Toward that end, we host an annual general meeting and onference to educate, empower and advocate.
To ensure conference participation from as many Pride organizers as possible and to lessen the financial burden on those participating, CAPI established the CAPI Scholarship Fund. Emphasis is placed on encouraging Pride organizers who without support will not be able to participate in the meeting and conference.
Each year Pride organizations seek financial support to attend the AGM. The scholarship fund is an important mechanism that allows us to support Pride organizers in our geographic region.
Support for these organizations is critical to providing tools, knowledge, and training that will impact the lives of their LGBTI community.
We need your help to accomplish our goal of making it possible for organizations to attend the annual AGM. Our fund is sustained through the generous donations of both CAPI members and individuals. We are confident that, with your support, we can reach our goal!
You can help and make a difference. Will you considerer donating to helps us achieve our mission? Will you be the one to take this request to your board to seek their support?
We thank you in advance for your support! Your donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to bring Pride organizers to the next Annual General Meeting where we will learn from and be inspired by one another.
