Required Preliminary Visit

All prospective Resident Volunteers are required to visit New Skete prior to being accepted into the Resident Volunteer Program. This short visit provides an opportunity to experience the community, learn more about the program and its daily rhythm, and determine whether the program is a good fit for both the applicant and the community.

Due to the small size of our monastery, we are only able to accept a limited number of Volunteer-In-Residence participants at a time.
