    DISCLAIMER: FERVENT is committed to doing everything in our power to responsibly assist those who come to us in need. As such, we will prioritize any help requests from members of FERVENT first and non-members next, as availability of resources allow us. To ensure responsible stewardship of church resources, cash will never be provided to fulfill a request. Instead, we will provide specific assistance, such as calling your electric company and paying your bill directly or collecting and delivering food for you and your family.

    ADDITIONALLY, certain small, urgent requests for help may be approved and provided immediately, however, if we receive multiple requests from the same family we will insist on further action, such as meeting with a financial coach or enrolling in a financial class offered regularly at FERVENT. Larger, or long-term, requests for help may require a meeting with a financial coach prior to assistance being provided.
