    Parent/Child - Accoring to your selections, we recommend that you enroll your child in

    Parent/Child (Ages 6 months-3 years): A parent or other adult will receive a guided demonstration to help their child become more comfortable in the water through song and play. Parents learn how to work with their child to introduce bubble-blowing, assist with arm and leg motion and holds for front and back float, along with safety information. Babies must wear swim diapers under their swimsuits and must be accompanied in the water by an adult.

    Preschool - Accoring to your selections, we recommend that you enroll your child in

    Preschool Aquatics (Ages 3-5 years): Introduction to Water Skills
    In this foundational class, children will become familiar with the water and start building comfort. They’ll set the stage for future swimming success by learning basic skills like floating, submerging their face and floating on their back with assistance.

    Level  1 3-5 - According to your selections, we recommend that you enroll your child in

    Level 1 (Ages 3-5 years): Fundamental Skills 
    Prerequisite: Must successfully pass Preschool.
    Building on what they learned in Preschool, children gain more independence in the water. They’ll practice skills such as jumping in, holding their breath underwater and floating without support. Treading water and gliding become fun challenges at this level! This level mirrors the skills in Level 1 (ages 6+ years).

    Level 1 6+ - According to your selections, we recommend you enroll your child in

    Level 1 (Ages 6+ years): Introduction to Water Skills 
    At this introductory level, the focus is on water safety and comfort. Swimmers will become familiar with the water and learn essential survival skills. They’ll practice entering and exiting the water safely, floating on their front and back with support and submerging their face. This level helps children become comfortable in the water, build confidence and start learning basic movements like kicking and arm strokes. Expect plenty of fun and games that focus on gaining confidence in the water!

    Level 2 3-5 - According to your selections, we recommend you enroll your child in

    Level 2 (Ages 3-5 years): Continued Development of Fundamental Skills 
    Prerequisite: Must successfully pass Level 1 (ages 3-5 years).
    Building on foundation of the previous class, this class will challenge swimmers to perform skills without instructor assistance. Children will work on front and back floats, glides, coordinated arm and leg movements on front and back, rotary breathing and treading water for a minimum of 30 seconds. With a focus on independence and safety, this level mirrors the skills in Level 2 (ages 6+ years) and sets the stage for strong, confident swimming and preparing them for the skills they will learn in Level 3 when they meet the age requirement.

    Level 2 6+ According to your selections, we reccomend you enroll your child in

    Level 2 (Ages 6+ years): Fundamental Skills 
    Prerequisite: Must successfully pass Level 1 (ages 6+ years).
    Building on the foundation set in Level 1, swimmers will learn to perform basic skills independently. This level introduces submerging and holding their breath underwater, floating without support and gliding through the water. Children will begin to develop arm and leg movements for the front crawl and backstroke. They'll also practice skills like jumping into the water and retrieving objects from underwater. As they gain confidence, swimmers will start to practice the fundamentals of stroke techniques and basic treading water.

    Level 3 6+ - According to your selections, we recommend you enroll your child in

    Level 3 (Ages 6+ years): Stroke Development 
    Prerequisite: Must successfully pass Level 2 (ages 3-5 years) or Level 2 (ages 6+ years).
    Building on the foundation set in Level 2, swimmers will improve their basic strokes while increasing their stamina. In this class, children will refine the front crawl with proper breathing techniques, begin to master backstroke and focus on their flutter kick. Treading water becomes more challenging as swimmers practice it using proper arm and leg motions. Additionally, this level introduces diving and helps swimmers build endurance by learning to swim longer distances and improving stroke efficiency. Expect more independent swimming as they gain greater control and coordination. This class will take place in 5 feet of water or deeper and swimmers must be comfortable in water over their heads.

    Level 4 -According to your selections, we recommend you enroll your child in

    Level 4 (Ages 6+ years): Stroke Improvement
    Prerequisite: Must successfully pass Level 3.
    Building on the skills mastered in Level 3, swimmers start refining their strokes with the goal of achieving more efficient and effective swimming techniques. The front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke are perfected, with an emphasis on improving endurance and speed. Swimmers will also be introduced to the butterfly stroke. This level also includes swimming longer distances and improving overall speed. Expect a focus on developing stronger strokes and learning how to swim continuously with less effort. This class will take place in 5+ feet of water and swimmers must be comfortable in water over their heads.

    Level 5 - According to your selections, we recommend you enroll your child in

    Level 5 (Ages 6+ years): Swimming and Skill Proficiency 
    Prerequisite: Must successfully pass Level 4.
    Swimmers will fine-tune their skills and prepare for competitive swimming. Swimmers perfect the front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly, refining their technique, speed and endurance. The focus is on increasing efficiency and learning to swim longer distances with consistent technique. Swimmers will also work on starts, turns and underwater skills that are key for competition. This level prepares swimmers for a lifetime of swimming. This class will take place in 5+ feet of water and swimmers must be comfortable in water over their heads.
