  • Use this form to recommend a title for our collections. But first, please:

    • Check the online catalog before making your suggestion. Please suggest only titles not currently in the catalog.
    • Be aware that you may also request a book not held by the Library through Interlibrary Loan.
    • Know that ACPL will consider each purchase suggestion based on the guidelines proscribed in our Library Materials Selection Policy.
    • Not all suggestions can be filled due to factors such as cost, timeliness, availability, etc.

    Please note: Staff will not be able to notify you if the item is purchased. You may periodically check the catalog or contact staff to see if the item has been added to the collection.

  • Request an InterLibrary Loan

  • Materials not owned by any of the libraries of the Alamance County Public Libraries may be borrowed via InterLibrary Loan Service. To request ILL materials, individuals must have a valid Alamance County Public Libraries library card and are responsible for any fees charged by the lending library. If fees are involved, you will have the option to withdraw your request. Note: There is a limit of 3 requests at a time. See our InterLibrary Loan guidelines for more information. For microfilm, journal articles, or photocopies, call the library.

  • PROGRAM SUGGESTIONS

  • The Alamance County Public Libraries provides programming that aligns with our goals and community needs. We welcome proposals to partner with outside organizations and individuals. For consideration, please submit the form below at least 90 days in advance of your proposed program. The programming team reviews all proposals and will respond within 2 weeks.


    Programs should:

    Relate directly to the library’s mission: Alamance County Public Libraries provide learning opportunities for all members of our community to be successful in living a larger life by nurturing the heart and the mind.

    • Fit into the library’s 2019 focus area of Community
    • Be free and open to the general public
    • Not include the promotion of for-profit businesses, products, or services

    Community groups and organizations are also welcome to reserve our meeting rooms for events.
