    • SWIM TEST ATTESTATION

Rowing is a water sport. The shells (boats) we row in are narrow and there is a possibility they can capsize. Because of this we require all our athletes (including coxswains) to be good swimmers. Below is the swimming ability test we require.

Please complete either option #1 or #2.

    • Swim Test Attestation (option #1)

If your child has previously taken a comparable swim test (BSA swimming merit badge, lifeguard certification, SCUBA certification, etc.) you may complete the following in lieu of the below test.

I certify that my child has completed a swim test comparable to the one listed above.

    • Swim Test Attestation(option #2)

Have a lifeguard, certified water safety instructor, or USRowing certified coach (if a coach is administering the test a lifeguard must be present) complete this form following your demonstration of skills.
