    This form is for exclusive use by DEUTZ distributors, their dealers and contractual rental accounts recognized by DEUTZ Corporation in North and South America. If you are a DEUTZ customer with access to SerDia, please contact your local DEUTZ Distributor for assistance, link for the sevice locator below.  For OEM users, please contact your DEUTZ Sales or Service representative for help with registration.

    Service Locator

    The DECOM Interface used with the SERDIA software is serialized and associated to a dealer or end user location. Each Interface will be assigned to a specific user and eash user can only be assigned to one Interface. SERDIA activity is collected and this data can be used to determine who made changes resulting in an engine no longer meeting emission regulations. Protect your business and yourself from any liability by assigning DECOM serial numbers to the appropriate dealer and or end users. 

    The DECOM serial number is located on the back label and consists of the digits to the right of the dash, see depiction below:

                                      

  • New DECOM Interface

    To obtain a new Interface, order part number 0293 7571. This interface will be received deactivated and will need to be registered, using this form, to the individual that will be using it. For endusers, this form must be submitted by the Distributor selling the tool, you are required to pay the annual license fee, the license will expire in 12 months from date of activation, at which point the user will have to purchase a new license, see "End User License Renewal" below.

    If the Interface is used by a Distributor or Dealer, any submission for that interface will trigger an updated renewal date.  If no such request is recieved in a one year period your renewal date will be reset with the submission of your annually required Form 2 submission.  Withour this submisson your tools will be subject to deactivation.

    SERDIA User Levels:

    SERDIA User Level 1:  End-user & Independent dealer level access

    Operation and maintenance, View engine operation parameters, Fuel System Overview, View error memory; Note: (Cannot reset EEPROM or PRV counter)                                                   

    SERDIA User Level 2: CC2 Dealer Access 

    Access to exhaust after-treatment testing and Regeneration, Fuel system testing including injector tests & IQA codes, Compression test, EEPROM and PRV counter reset, Accelerator pedal calibration, Access to several use cases for diagnostics on injection system and after-treatment, Web Services to download and program datasets.

    SERDIA User Level 3:  CC3 Dealer Access

    Functions from levels 1 & 2 above, Addition of Extensive diagnostic capabilities, Graphing, Trip recorder, Online access to wiring diagrams

    DEUTZ reserves the right to change and or modify these user functions at any time without any prior notice.

  • Damaged Interface

    If an interface becomes damaged and you need to replace it, ensure that your submission is marks as,

    • Transfer user from one interface to a new interface (used when Interface has been damaged)

    If this selection has not been picked the original interface will remain active and be billed for renewal if billing is required for your organization.

    End User License Renewal

    End users must renew their license yearly through a distributor. The distributor will order the license using part number 030 8766. The distributor must then submit this form and attach the paid invoice where they have billed the end user for the renewal.

    • Important information concerning JLG Dealers!!!

      If a JLG contracted dealer would like to maintain Level 2 access they will need to apply for the SERDIA Affiliate Program, completing required training and paying all associated fee's .  If a JLG dealer chooses not to participate in the SERDIA Affiliate Program, they will be assigned the standard user access of Level 1.  We are no longer extending level 2 access to this group at the standard renewal rate.  Please verify JLG status by checking the JLG Dealer Locator.

      If you are wishing to inquire about the SERDIA Affiliate Program, please have your DEUTZ Distributor contact their Territory Service Operations Manager to discuss your eligibility.  The TSOM will provide the appropriate web form link to complete the process.

    • If you have received an email stating that your license has expired you either need to submit this form or have your manager ensure your organizations annual Form 2 has been submitted, identifying all interfaces at your locaiton. 

      If the SerDia 4.0 program is stating that your license has expired you need to renew your license within the program, it will state that no license was found if your interface is deactivated.  Select the hamburger in the top left hand corner,, then select renew license on the following page.  Note that the valid until date is displayed day.month.year.

    • If an end user is receiving a message that their license needs to be updated or has expired, this may be referring to the bi-annual required license file update that is required on February 1st and August 1st of each year.

      Please instruct them go to https://serdia.deutz.com/serdia2010 and download an up-to-date license file and verify their license expiration date before collecting renewal fees and proceeding with the submission of this form.

      *You will still need part # 04642772 to connect SerDia tool with Daimler ECU. Daimler Legacy engines are not included in the scope for Xentry module in SerDia 4.0. Xentry Diagnostic tool will be needed to flash Daimler ECUs*
