• SERDIA Upgrade / Registration Form

  • Attention, please be advised that beginning 5/17/2021 the following SERDIA registration and license file changes are taking place. First, the weekly SERDIA submission deadline will be Tuesday's at 5 PM EST on standard operating business weeks. All submissions after this time will be processed on the following week's license file update. Second, the weekly license file update will now be posted on Thursday of each week. Please plan accordingly.

    This form is for exclusive use by DEUTZ distributors, their dealers and contractual rental accounts recognized by DEUTZ Corporation in North and South America.

    The DECOM Interface used with the SERDIA software is serialized and assigned to a dealer or end user. SERDIA activity is collected and this data can be used to determine who made changes resulting in an engine no longer meeting emission regulations. Protect your business and yourself from any liability by assigning DECOM serial numbers to the appropriate dealer and or end users. 

    The DECOM serial number is located on the back label and consists of the digits to the right of the dash, see depiction below:

                                      

  • New DECOM Interface

    To obtain a new Interface, order part number 0293 7571. This interface will come with User Level One functionality, suitable for an end-user. This license will expire in 12 months, at which point the user will have to purchase a new license, see "End User License Renewal" below.

    If the Interface is intended for Distributor or Dealer use, CC2 or CC3, you must record the serial number of the interface, once you have received it, and complete this form requesting an upgrade based on the competency class of the assigned dealer. Distributor and dealer interfaces will have their license set up to renew each year with the payment of the combined service fee.

    SERDIA User Levels:

    SERDIA User Level 1:  End-user & Independent dealer level access

    Operation and maintenance, View engine operation parameters, Exhaust after-treatment, Fuel System, View, and clear error memory; Note: (Cannot reset EEPROM or PRV counter)                                                   

    SERDIA User Level 2: CC2 Dealer Access 

    Access to exhaust after-treatment testing and Regeneration, Fuel system testing including injector tests & IQA codes, Compression test, EEPROM and PRV counter reset, Accelerator pedal calibration, Access to several use cases for diagnostics on injection system and after-treatment, Web Services to download and program datasets.

    SERDIA User Level 3:  CC3 Dealer Access

    Functions from levels 1 & 2 above, Addition of Extensive diagnostic capabilities, Graphing, Trip recorder, Online access to wiring diagrams

    DEUTZ reserves the right to change and or modify these user functions at any time without any prior notice.

  • Replacement Interface 

    If a replacement interface is needed for one that has been damaged or lost, you will need to order a replacement unit using part number 0293 7571. This unit will come without a user license. Once it arrives you will need to record the new interface and old interface serial number along with a copy of the invoice from purchase on this form to have the license transfered to the new unit. Once the information has been received and processed the form will be forwarded to the parts department to issue a $150 credit for the replacement interface purchase.

    End User License Renewal

    End users must renew their license yearly through a distributor. The distributor will order the license using part number 030 8766. The distributor must then submit this form and attach the paid invoice where they have billed the end user for the renewal.
