  • Organize a Live The Valley Event

    Difficulty level - 4 out of 5
  • Image-22
  • Live the Valley is a series of events that take place in the valley, which aim to get people within our community using the valley that we love.

In this initiative, individuals will present a series of programs to raise community awareness and interest in visiting Beaver Valley. These programs range from weekly yoga classes in the Valley’s tranquil outdoor setting to informational tours of its centuries-old historical structures and remnants. There will be photography workshops, birdwatching outings, and even opportunities to explore the scenic vistas and exciting trails of the Valley’s lesser known Pennsylvania side.

Live The Valley will allow interested people of all walks of life to immerse themselves in nature and learn more about all that the Valley has to offer. If you are intrigued by the Valley, yet intimidated or overwhelmed by its expanse, Live the Valley will provide stepping stones for you to begin your relationship with the natural wonder existing in your backyard. If you already treasure the Valley, but want to grow in your understanding of its bounty, these events will guide you to new knowledge and appreciation. No matter what your connection with Beaver Valley, this summer’s event will help you answer the question: Why do you love the Valley?

  • Join a Committee: Be a Champion of Save the Valley

    Difficulty level - 5 out of 5
  • Image-46
  • This will require at least a few hours of work a week until the event date.  Although it requires a high level of dedication, it is also the highest-impact, and the best way to be a champion of the valley, just as William Poole Bancroft was in the early 1900s.

Committees are formed when Save The Valley is organizing a larger effort, such as a rally, a sign making event, or even a music festival.

We are looking for strategic-minded people who know how t get things done.  Champions should be:

    • Organized
    • Driven
    • Self-sufficient
    • Problem solvers

Champions should be someone with credibility who can reach out on behalf of the organization, and represent the best of Save the Valley.

  • Your Skills & Abilities
