Marco Polo App/Virtual Makeup Lessons:
Marco Polo is a video messaging app. All student families will download the Marco Polo app. In the event that a student misses a lesson or has a question during the week, instruction will be given via Marco Polo at the request of the student family. Parents can check-in anytime via Marco Polo/email/text to ask questions. Students or parents may send Marco Polo messages or emails any day of the week and any time of day. Please do not expect to get an immediate response from Marco Polo message since it isn't always a live video.
Makeup lessons will not be scheduled when students miss a lesson. If Mrs. Mary cancels a lesson, an in-person makeup lesson option will be given.
If AISD is closed due to inclement weather, Mary Hale’s studio will also be closed and in-person makeup lessons will be scheduled. If AISD has not canceled school due to the weather, Mary Hale’s Studio will continue to have lessons.

SAFETY RULES
When lessons are over, students will exit the door and will walk to the car unassisted. At the end of each lesson, parents are responsible for children's safety. If your child needs to be escorted from the front door to the car, it is the parent's responsibility to come up to the front door at the end of the lesson and walk the child to the car. Otherwise, you are allowing permission for your child to walk from the front door of Mary Hale's studio to the car without an adult holding their hand or guiding them to the car. Mary Hale's Studio is not legally responsible for walking your child from the lesson to the car.
When walking to or from a lesson, there is a step up to the front porch. If a parent/guardian or student has an injury from falling on the stairway or injuring themselves in any way on-site at Mary Hale's Studio, Mary Hale is not legally responsible for injuries. Please walk safely to and from lessons.
Students will remain in the designated music room or the front entryway of the home. Please do not enter other parts of the home beyond the designated studio space. By signing this form, you are agreeing to stay within the designated studio area. If a student or parent enters a different part of the home and damages the property or is injured, it is the student family's financial and legal responsibility.
By submitting this form, you agree to the information and rules above. By sending your child, you agree that you will not hold Mrs. Mary, her family, or other student families responsible for spreading COVID-19 or other communicable diseases.
