Our original community was destroyed in the 2018 Kilauea volcanic eruption. We are slowly rebuilding while waiting for government road access.

From June 2026, when the government access road is expected to be completed, we will offer lodging and volunteer camping at Hedonisia Lava Land.

The approximate time to complete this form is 10-15 minutes.

Applications are only submitted when completed.

We have divided our volunteer jobs into Body, Mind and Heart work so that you can choose jobs that are in your field of expertise or interest.

VEHICLE OPTIONS: While not absolutely necessary, we recommend renting or buying a vehicle as we are in a rural location. It is necessary to have a car to get supplies and to see the beautiful sights of Hawaii island.
