The Doug Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund, formally known as the Edom Community Scholarship Fund, was established in 1994. The fund awards one or more scholarships each year to graduating high school, private, or homeschooled seniors who plan to attend an institute of higher learning. The fund is administered by the Edom Area Chamber of Commerce.
Who is eligible? The scholarship is awarded to an EDOM AREA graduation senior who shows RESPECT for and INTEREST in the community. The student must also present a high school record indicative of ACADEMIC and SOCIAL involvement. The award is funded directly to the educational institution and may be applied to tuition, fees, or books.

2-Write responses in a Word document
3-Gather all PDF files requested and store them on your computer.
Upon Submission: Watch for an immediate confirmation email with a copy of your completed application for your file. Keep a copy.
TimeLine: Jan 1 to March 30: Applications accepted
March 30-Mid April: Each Application is reviewed and evaluated by the Edom Community Scholarship Selection Committee. Recipient(s) selected.
Late April: Each Applicant is notified of the selection decision by phone and email.
In May: The Scholarship is Awarded at his/her school's Award Ceremony. A separate award presentation is made at an Edom Members meeting, date to be announced.
