• Building Trades Scholarship

    Applications and required documents due no later than April 12.
  • This scholarship is offered to students that will be participating in a LOCAL residential trades-related field of study. Available to high school and adult part or full time students. There is NO grade point average minimum.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    Complete this application by hand, digitally, or online at hbas.org/scholarship-information:

    Personal Statement: fill out the page provided in this packet or a typed document. You will provide information about your interest, experiences, projects, etc. related to skilled trades.

    Transcripts: provide your official transcripts (including attendance records). Adult students out of school 5+ years, provide a copy of your diploma or GED instead (if available).

    Projects: send in photos, renderings, and/or descriptions of skilled trades related projects or experiences. You may also include awards/certificates achieved.

    OPTIONAL References: attach up to 3 personal and/or professional references from teachers, mentors, employers, or other industry professionals. A page is provided for guidance.

    SUBMISSION

    You can complete this application online, but you must be able to upload or send in your references, essay, and transcripts of your diploma or GED.

    If you qualify for this scholarship, you will be invited to an interview with a panel of building trades professionals.
