2019 Teach The Teachers Application
Teach the Teachers is open to any middle or high school instructor within the Durham Public School system. The deadline to apply is February 25. The 2019 program will take place on the following dates: March 14 at 5:30 pm: Pre-festival meeting (afternoon); April 4 – 7: 22nd annual Full Frame Documentary Film Festival; Week of May 6: Post-festival meeting (afternoon). The purpose of Teach the Teachers is to provide Durham Public Schools educators with the opportunity to create curriculum materials that integrate documentary film effectively into their classrooms. It is vital that we select educators we are confident will utilize documentary film intentionally in their classrooms. If you are selected, how will you fulfill this purpose? How do you think this program might change your practice as an educator?
