    MEMBERSHIP TYPES

    Semester Membership

     

    MEMBERSHIP TERMS

    $100 per Autumn semester

    $100 per Spring semester

    $50 per Summer semester

    Must be paid in full in person via check or credit card

     

    MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

    • This membership includes the use of the Adena Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room, Gymnasium, Multipurpose field. 
    • This membership also includes the free activity equipment check out with OSU or COTC ID. 
    • This membership includes the use of the locker services at the Adena Recreation Center. Day-use lockers are available with locks that can be checked out at the Adena Recreation Front Desk with your BUCK ID or COTC ID.  We have a select number of lockers set aside to use for the entire semester.  A $10 deposit must be paid to fees and deposits in order to obtain a locker assignment. All lockers are first come first serve.  A locker lottery system may be utilized towards the beginning of each semester to accommodate higher demands for assigned lockers and members can enter the lottery via the Rec Sports website

    All Annual and Semester lockers are subject to staff access for maintenance or cleaning.

    MEMBERSHIP RESTRICTIONS      

    Alumni Members ARE NOT eligible to participate in Intramurals

    Alumni Members ARE NOT eligible for our GUEST PASS POLICY

    Activity Waiver

    In consideration of any and all participation in the Department of Recreational Sports programs and activities the use of the facilities and equipment, and undersigned agrees and understands that risk of serious and permanent injury from the activities does exist, and knowingly, and freely assumes all risk, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Department of Recreational Sports or others and assumes full responsibility for participation and use of all facilities.

    The undersigned further agrees to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions of participation and agrees that if any unusual or significant hazard is observed activities will be discontinued and the undersigned will bring such matter to the attention of the nearest official immediately. I, for myself, and on behalf of my heirs, assign, personal representative and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless The Ohio State University & Central Ohio Technical College and its Board of Trustees and officers, agents and/or employees, with respect to any and all injury, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property which may incur to the fullest extent permitted by law. All equipment checked-out from facilities with the Department of Recreational Sports must be returned at the required check-in time.  Equipment returned late or damaged is subject to applicable late or replacement fees. I agree to comply with the account holder agreement. I understand there will be a $25 return fee for each debit, check or charge returned unpaid for any reason.

    Photo Statement: I do hereby release my permission to have photographs that I or my dependent members may appear in to be used for promotion of the Department of Recreational Sports.

    Cancellation Policy

    Memberships can be canceled with at least thirty (30) days written notice prior to actual cancellation date.  I understand that behavior that violates departmental policies may result in cancellation of my membership at any time.  Refunds are not granted for membership periods lasting less than one semester.
