Qualified applicants are considered for all open volunteer positions without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, veteran status, or the presence of a non job-related medical condition or disability. Because our mission and purpose as a Christian ministry is to bring hope, love, and healing to young people and their families, it is of great importance that we endeavor at all times to build our team with people of the highest moral and spiritual character. To maintain our high standards, we must ask all applicants to be prepared to subject themselves to certain personal, employment and criminal background checks. For that purpose, please answer the following:

4. Statement of Faith

All of our staff and volunteers must affirm our Statement of Faith as follows:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the infallible authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to livea godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

Abuse Prevention Training

Youth for Christ USA requires that all volunteers within the organization who work with youth complete Abuse Prevention Training. You will be required to complete this training if you are going to volunteer with
our ministry. The training that must be completed is available to you as two, brief online videos. This training must be completed before you can interact with youth or attend any YFC outings with the youth.
More information on this training will be sent to you by YFC Administration upon submission of your volunteer application.
Proof of Auto Insurance

YFC maintains high standards for staff and volunteers driving kids on behalf of the ministry. YFC will be selective in determining who will transport kids, insisting on minimum standards for age, driving record, and personal insurance levels. To transport kids in their personal vehicles, drivers must have current insurance that meets the minimum required $300,000 aggregate, $100,000 per accident limits. A copy of your current valid insurance declaration page will be kept on file in the YFC office.
