To renew, replace or get new e-Passport, you must apply in person.

To renew an existing Nigerian passport, you must appear in person for biometric and image acquisition at a Nigerian Embassy or Consulate. Nigerian Passports are actually not renewed but re-issued. Nigerian Passports are only valid for 5 or 10 years. A new passport booklet will be issued to you. You can not mail in your application. In order to successfully complete your application, you must provide via email your (1) birth certificate (2) the data page of your most recent Nigerian passport (3) passport photo. Please send all 3 images to the email address: npvs1960@gmail.com

ATTENTION:

Get your passport photo for the Nigerian passport application taken at a Walgreens, Fedex office, UPS Store, Walmart or CVS. Please have the store send the digital copy in the form of a high-quality JPEG to your email address. Please confirm receipt of the email before you leave the store. After you receive the email, please forward it to npvs1960@gmail.com

DO NOT scan a printed photo or take a photo of an already printed photo.
