This application represents an understanding among the Roseville Area Schools Orchestra director, Private Lesson Instructor, Student-applicant, the Student's parent/guardian, Minnesota Youth Symphonies and the RAS Orchestra Foundation (RASOF).
Under this program, subject to available funding, RASOF agrees to contribute the price of the weekly lesson minus $5.00 that the student provides for up to one 30 minute lesson per week (10 lessons per trimester) during the 2022-23 academic year. For summer term, RASOF can compensate for up to 5 lessons, as scheduled between the Student and Instructor. Students pay their Instructor $5 per lesson. Applications will be accepted for eligible students until RASOF's annual program budget is met.
Student-applicants are eligible only if they are currently enrolled in the string orchestra program in Roseville Area Schools (ISD623), are recommended by their school orchestra director under RASOF's Guidelines, and agree to cooperate with attendance and contribution requirements.
