    If you are looking to book an English Department room for a meeting, schedule an Event (public or private), or pay a speaker - you've arrived at the right place. Please answer the following questions (as best as you can) and a member of the English Department Staff will follow-up shortly!

    Same day Media requests cannot be honored.

    No one likes a double-booking.  We have a LOT of meetings and events in the English Department.  Before you begin your request, please double check audience conflicts by viewing the English Master Calendar of Events. 

    We aren't saying you can't book your event at the same time as an existing one, but we are encouraging you to find an open time slot.

    JUST BOOKING A ROOM (Nothing Else)

    This means that you are booking an English Department Room and don't need any additional Department Resources (food, equipment, honorariums, etc).  Mostly, you just want to get your event/meeting on the calendar and confirm a room - beyond that, you'll handle the logistics

  • NOTE: If your meeting/event requires a specific room layout other than what is already in the room: 

    It is your responsibility:

    • for arranging the room set up and return after your event 
    • for removing all food containers from the room to the main hallway trash receptables
  • Please be advised: Some Facilities Management Support or Media Technology Support selections may be an additional cost or require a contract.  

    You must arrange for Media Tech assistance at least 5 business days in advance of an event.
