  • A little housekeeping:

I am pleased to offer this specialized therapy group for teens with Amanda Findley. Here is a little info about her:

Amanda Findley, MSW, LCSW, is the owner of Hope Water Wellness, and is deeply motivated to see our community members live vibrant and resilient lives. With over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, she is able to skillfully pull from a number of theories to provide clients with tools tomove towards emotional wellness. She heavily favors Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Strengths Based Perspectives in a client centered fashion. Amanda favors the approach of Acceptance and Commit Therapy due to it's principles of being present with whatever life brings us and to align with the client's valued behavior. She earned her Master's in Social Work at Gallaudet University in the District of Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Time in the studio will promote daily creative courage to engage with life's challenges and choose positive choices for a better quality of life.

By registering for this group, you and your teen are committing to attend all 3 Saturday sessions for personal and group consistency.

We will look forward to the students treating the studio like home and learning the system of where they can find aprons, materials and tidy their work areas at the end.

Restrooms are located at the red building further down from the studio where parking is located & is a short walk. Please encourage your teen to use the facilities before their studio time begins. We can walk together as a class midway through, but I always want to encourage focus and creative flow once they settle in.

The studio has heaters and ac, but it is still a barn, so please encourage your teens to dress in layers.

We will start each session with pizza. Snacks are welcome if necessary. If there are allergies I will let you know, but let's just say no peanuts right away for everyone's ultimate safety.

Teens will only be allowed to go home with adults who are confirmed on this registration. So please make sure to do that. Pick up is promptly at 2pm.

There will be no refunds. A one time payment of $240 is due at registration and includes all 3 sessions.

I will send all of this info to your email after registration in a welcome letter - no worries!

We are looking forward to meeting your teen,

    Sara & Amanda
