In order to be considered for enrollment, the following items need to be turned in with your application from any previous high school you’ve attended:

• Behavior Records

All items on this application must be completed to proceed with the registration process and schedule a New Student Interview.

DELTA High School Attendance Policy

What makes DELTA High School special is our incredibly caring and safe environment combined with our strong academic focus. We know for sure that students who are here earn credits and learn.

• You must maintain an 86.6% attendance rate. Attendance will be reviewed every week.
• If you miss a class, see that teacher during office hours to get caught up.
• Our expectation is that you achieve 85% or higher attendance each week. Not meeting that standard of being on track in your classes may result in you being dropped from individual classes, having your schedule changed or being placed on an attendance contract.
• If schedule changes and attendance contracts do not improve your attendance, you may be dropped from the program.
• Students who are dropped from the program will need to re-apply and attend a mandatory student orientation at the start of the next quarter. Students who are dropped from the program two times may not be eligible for return.
• Modeling scholarly behavior is expected by getting to all classes on time. If you arrive late, you must sign-in at the main office and get a pass to class from Ira or another DELTA High School staff member.
• All absences will be counted as unexcused UNLESS a parent or guardian calls ahead or if you provide a doctor/court/parent/guardian note upon your return. Decisions about excused absences will be made on a case by case basis.

Student Expectations at DELTA High School

Dress Code:

• No hats, baseball caps, beanies, do-rags etc.
• Appropriate coverage for both men and women
• All garments should be appropriate for a school environment (No drug/alcohol/weapon/misogynistic attire)

Behavior Expectations:

• Complete a minimum of three courses per quarter
• No fighting or drama on campus
• Follow DELTA school rules and regulations
• Show respect to fellow students, staff, and the DELTA environment
• Talk to staff if you are struggling with school, life, work, etc.
