  • The National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA) is now the Renal Healthcare Association, Supporting Dialysis Facilities and Professionals. Since 1977, the Renal Healthcare Association has supported independent and community-based dialysis providers to build a stronger community. The Renal Healthcare Association fulfills its mission through education, advocacy, and services that support excellence in renal healthcare. 

    Every one of our members plays a crucial role in the success of our organization. By joining a Committee or Task Force, you have the opportunity to:

    • Take ownership of the Renal Healthcare Association's Strategic Plan and actively contribute to organizational objectives
    • Stay engaged with the renal health community and seek out the expertise, advice, and insight of experts nationwide
    • Create an atmosphere that promotes constructive and open-minded dialogue
    • Qualify to run on the Board after one year of service as a Committee member (Primary Representatives of Active Member Companies only)

  • Committee Descriptions:

    • Education Program Committee - To oversee RHA ongoing programs, Annual Conference, Webinar Wednesdays, The MeetUp, and Education Station.
    • Pediatrics Committee - Meets the unique needs of pediatric dialysis programs; provides resources, education, and advocacy.
    • Hospital-Based Committee - Provides hospitals and health systems with education, resources, and advocacy. Additionally, the committee facilitates initiatives related to population health. 
    • Quality-Based Committee - Develops reporting tools and educational programs to promote compliance and patient care. Areas for this committee include emergency planning, COVID-19, and staffing.
    • Home Dialysis (Home Therapies) Committee - Focuses on Member access to toolkits, resources, and information needed for home therapies care.
    • Membership Growth Committee - develops outreach campaigns and is focused on the acquisition of new members, specifically the sub-groups of Hospital Providers and Small Nephrology Practices. The committee also supports the associations' participation in industry trade shows, engages with other organizations to expand the associations' reach and a potential increase to membership.  
  • Task Force Descriptions:

    • RHA Online Platform Review Task Force - The purpose of this task force is to have a small group go through RHA platforms and review, update, and make changes as needed. The group will work through different sections and provide feedback on functionality, ease of use, and overall improvements. The task force should be in place for one (1) year in total and be able to identify ongoing updates and potential major updates with project proposals as needed. (Platforms defined as RenalHealthcare.org, Voices, Education Station)
