The Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Colorectal Cancers (CGA-ICC) invites the submission of late breaking abstracts regarding clinical, basic science, and/or psychosocial aspects of hereditary colorectal cancer. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive update on the status of research and to stimulate collaborations, recruitment of subjects, and ideas for the development of other studies.
The original call for abstract submission closed on July 21, 2017. We are requesting that authors truly only submit late breaking research. All abstracts will be peer reviewed and selected for poster or podium presentation. Meeting and hotel registration is encouraged at the time of abstract submission. To register, click here.
We are pleased to offer several enhancements to the 2017 CGA Abstract Submission. These enhancements are designed to streamline the submission process and allow us to collect complete information on your abstract(s). Please see below for important information and guidelines for your submission. The abstract submission deadline is 11:59 PM ET on Friday, September 22, 2017.

If you are submitting on behalf of the presenting author, please provide your email.
All correspondence for poster and podium presentations will be sent to the presenting author.
Disclosures (New for 2017!)
All presenting authors must submit any relevant financial relationships. Disclosures are
required for co-authors.
Presenting authors must also complete the attestation. As a presenting author, you must attest to the accuracy of the information provided.
Failure to complete disclosures will result in an incomplete submission and will be returned to the author.

. Abstracts that exceed the word count will be returned.
You will be asked to submit the abstract electronically
as a word document. The electronic submission will ensure that you are within the word count limit, and the word document will ensure that your abstract maintains original formatting in the meeting program.
Note: the electronically submitted abstract will NOT maintain special characters or formatting.
The body should be organized in the following sections:
. Define all abbreviations.
On the Word document, include the abstract title, full name of all co-authors, institutional affiliations of all co-authors.
Abstracts must not contain copyrighted material unless the author has obtained permission.
Tables and Figures
You can include up to 2 tables and/or figures (e.g., 2 tables, 2 figures or 1 table and 1 figure). Do not exceed this limit or the abstract will be returned.
Each table and/or figure should be uploaded separately.
Tables and Figures do NOT count toward the 250-word count.
Submissions not meeting the above specifications will not be accepted
and returned to the submitter.
The deadline for receipt of abstracts is 11:59 PM ET on Friday, September 22, 2017. All presenting authors will receive confirmation of their abstract submission via email.
Abstracts will be selected for podium presentation based on scientific merit. Notification of acceptance for podium and poster presentations will be acknowledged by email in early October 2017.
