Recruitment Rules
Please review these so you are aware of what the recruitment guidelines are for our fraternities. Please contact the Office of Greek Life or IFC President, Nick McClinton, if there is a question in regards to these rules.

Bids cannot be promised prior to Walk Out (bid distribution ceremony).
Fraternity members are not allowed to spend money on a potential member. The exception is that each fraternity may have two pre-recruitment event during the designated time (from the beginning of the fall semester until the first day of recruitment) which will be advertised by the Office of Greek Life. The event will be held on campus and potential members are welcome to attend.
Fraternity members are not allowed to take potential members off campus (ie. dinners, BSC Football Game, etc.) unless it is an approved Recruitment event or official college event (athletic team event, RA event, etc.).
Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during all Huntingdon College events, including on or off-campus fraternity recruitment parties.

By completeing this application you are agreeing to abide by the Huntingdon College Interfraternity Council recruitment rules and give your full consent to the Director of Student Activities to post your name on bid lists, examine your academic record, and release your academic information to chapters and their advisory board. You do not have to maitain a specific GPA to register, but most fraternities require at least a 2.5GPA to be eligibile for membership.*
