We maintain a ratio of ten children to one instructor.
Children must be potty trained for all drop off class this means no PULL UPS.
If your child brings a backpack or coat, please make sure his/her name is clearly marked on the outside. We ask that you keep all other personal items at home. We will not be responsible for lost, stolen or broken toys. The teacher may allow a Show and Tell toy and will notify you of those days.
Our class activities are theme based and are related to the season related. However, our instructors do not conduct activities which are religious in nature.
We don’t celebrate holidays but we do have fall harvest, Valentine and Graduation Parties. Teachers will allow special treats that need to be store bought. No birthday desserts.
It is important that we uphold a positive, safe environment at preschool. To do so, we ask that you help prepare your child for the following classroom rules before the first day: talk nicely to friends and teachers, refrain from physical behavior (biting, hitting, pushing, etc.) and stay in the classroom at all times. We understand that this may be your child’s first experience attending a structured program, and we will work with your child to help him or her be successful.
If we have to give your child several verbal warnings, we may need to contact you to talk about a solution. If a solution cannot be reached, we may need to discuss removal from the program.
Teachers are unable to administer any type of medication at our programs.
If an instructor/staff sees that a participant has head lice, or hears that a child attending our preschool program may have head lice, we will check all participants. If we find lice or nits on your child, we will ask that you pick up him or her up immediately. In order to return to the program, his/her head needs to be free of lice/nits.
If your child is sick, they will not be allowed to stay at preschool. Parent/Guardian must make arrangements for child to be picked up within 1 hour of phone call notification. Child must be fever, vomit, lice and diarrhea free for 24 hours before returning to preschool. No refunds of credits will be issued due to child illness.
