• 2013 Mifos Summit Scholarship Application

  • The Mifos Summit is an important event to bring together our community. The generosity of our donors and sponsors have made it possible to offer scholarships to those who couldn't otherwise afford to attend. All scholarship attendees are expected to actively participate at the summit - this application will help us evaluate your need and help us formulate the content to create an engaging and tailored agenda for the summit.

  • II. Scholarships

    With only a limited pool of scholarship funds available, we want to first ensure that those organizations in the greatest need are able to attend. If multiple individuals from your organization are applying they must each submit a separate application. Due to limited travel funds, we must first try to accommodate one individual from each organization before we can cover the costs of additional representatives.

  • We have three scholarship levels available. Based on your need and organization's ability to cover the cost, you can apply for any or all of these levels, but please only apply for those that are of necessity to you.

    We want more of the content at the 2013 summit to be led by you, the community.

    One portion of the summit will be training sessions, which will be split across multiple tracks geared towards 1) Developers - technical content related to development on Mifos X 2) Specialists - both implementation and business development content and 3) MFI & Financial Inclusion Management - product design, etc.

    Once again we'll have some breakout sessions in we brainstorm and share ideas that will help us to expand the roadmap and vision for Mifos X.

    This year, for the first time we'll be hosting a Community Choice Awards Dinner to recognize the leading members of our community.
