    In consideration of my employment, if I am employed, I agree to conform to the rules and regulations of the Museum, and I understand that my employment and compensation can be terminated, with or without notice, at any time, at the option of either the Museum or myself. I understand that no representative of the Museum, other than the Executive 

    Director, has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specified period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing.

    I understand that any misrepresentation, deception, or false statement made in this Employment Application may result in my not being considered for employment, and if not discovered by the Museum until after my becoming employed, is grounds for, and may result in, my immediate termination.

    I hereby authorize the educational institutions listed on the Employment Application to release a copy of my official transcript of my academic record. 

    CONSENT TO PROCUREMENT OF CONSUMER CREDIT REPORT

    I understand that, as a condition of my consideration for employment with Museum, or as a condition of my continued employment with the Museum, the Museum may obtain a consumer report that includes, but is not limited to, my creditworthiness or similar characteristics, employment and education verifications, social security verification, criminal and civil history, personal interviews, DMV records, any other public records and any other information bearing on my credit standing, credit capacity, character, general reputation, personal characteristics and trustworthiness. 

    I hereby authorize and consent to the Children’s Museum procurement of such a report. I understand that, pursuant to the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Museum will provide me with a copy of any such report if the information contained in such report is, in any way, to be used in making a decision regarding my fitness for employment with the Museum. I further understand that such report will be made available to me prior to any such decision being made, along with the name and address of the reporting agency that produced the report.
