  • Weimaraners eat approximately 4 cups of food per day ($60-$75/month), require yearly health check-ups and vaccines ($100.00 year), monthly flea and heartworm prevention ($15.00/month), senior blood panels in the second half of life ($100.00/year), and any health care if he/she becomes ill.  This is an approximately $1000.00-$2000.00 per year financial commitment.

  • Weimaraners are high energy sporting dogs that require daily exercise.  Lack of exercise may result in physical and/or behavioral disorders.

  • Weimaraners have an intense desire for direct human contact with their families.  Weimaraners are known as one of neediest canine breeds.  Lack of adequate time spent with their families can result in destructive behavioral disorders in Weimaraners.
