Scholarship Application

- Incoming Freshman through incoming Senior at a two (2) or four (4) year accredited college as a full-time student OR an accredited trade school. Check at this link HERE.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen

- Must be a current active member of USA WATER SKI & WAKE SPORTS: AWSA/ABC/AKA/NCWSA/NSSA/NWSRA/USA-AWSWS/USA-WB/USHA

- Award will be made to an undergraduate student and for no more than (3) academic years. Recipients must attend school for the full year during the year of receipt.

- Completed applications must be received by 11:59pm ET on April 1 of the award year.

- It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure the application is completed and signed, and official documentation, references, and essay/video link have been received by USA-WWF by the deadline.  DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING!

Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. 

All winners will be notified before July 15th of the award year.

1. Fill out the online application completely.
2. Complete essay or video addressing the essay question.
3. Provide two (2) current recommendation letters with the application.              
4. Provide documentation of classes/courses taken with grades and GPA in form of a transcript or grade report. Documentation must either show work in progress or that the student is currently a full-time student in good standing.  If applicant will be a college freshman, include documentation from high school and proof of college enrollment.

If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

List only two references not related to you: one (1) academic (college professor/instructor/academic advisor) AND one (1) other (connection with water sports). 

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure the current written references are  received by USA-WWF by April 1 of the award year.

Topic: "Tell us about a time when you contributed to the growth of your water sport."

Please submit your story in a 500-word essay or 3-5 minute video.

All material will become property of USA Water Ski and Wake Sports Foundation.

Winners will be notified by July 15 of the award year. The recipient will need to then provide the name of college/university/trade school, its address and the name of Financial Aid Advisor to whom the check will be issued.
