Not that long ago, the only ones we saw on the "big screen" were TV newscasters, leaders, celebrities, and authorities, YouTube has shifted that but many of us still put a higher value on someone we see on video providing their insights, sharing a tip, or answering questions that we have.
YouTube has also shifted the control of who shows up and put that control in OUR hands. In addition, YouTube is the second widely used search engine (after Google).

Social media personalizes your business and "puts a face" to your brand. Think of it as on-line networking and just like you have to work the room, you need to work the "world wide web".
Another way to share your blogs and videos is through the social media network. It's easy when you post new video or blog posts because you can just check the box to share. Be sure to personalize the post, include a call to action AND respond to feedback.
NEWSLETTERS are working it OLD SCHOOL.
Some might think newsletters are obsolete because of social media, but we all still send email and we all still read it. The younger generation rely on it less but we got them covered with social media and if some of our demographic is of the "old school" set, we should have them covered as well. Plus it's another means to easily disseminate our blog posts and videos.
NOTE: Part of this involves a sytem to BULD your LIST (AKA Lead Development) AND can implement a BROADER outreach by piggy-backing on other business newsletters.

LEAD DEVELOPMENT is CRUCIAL!
This is the beginning of your marketing/follow-up funnel. If you have no means to contact someone on a scheduled basis you have no way to move them from point of contact to point of sale. Once you have their contact info (and their permission) you can at least send them newsletters every 1-3 months to remind them of who you are and what's new because "out of sight is indeed out of mind".
Even better is to send them a sequence of emails that will purposefully move them down the decision making process until they make a buying decision (or not). If you don't have this sequence in place, you may be missing some business opportunities by leaving the next step in their hands. Problem is, THEY have no vested interest in buying from you unless they understand the VALUE you provice Hence the need for YOU to take them by the email and demonstrate it.
FOLLOWUP SYSTEMS are working SMART.
